The museum is housed in the mansion of boyar Toader Buhuş, dating form the 18th century. In 1991, the history exhibition was reorganized and enriched with collections of technological outfits illustrating the history of textile industry in Buhuşi: wool combing machine, small subassemblies, loom, brake, spinning wheels, cloth samples catalogues, national costumes, towels, etc.
