The museum complex was opened in 2008 and includes a permanent exhibition with objects and documents reflecting local history and folk costumes; two traditional houses and a sunken church, reconstructed in the museum courtyard, characteristic to the rural area of Boianu Plain for the 18th century; library and guest room.
