Museum is housed in an old Synagogue, built in the second half of the 19th century. The permanent exhibition is dedicated to the Holocaust of the Jews in North-Eastern Transylvania in 1944. At that time, that part of Transylvania was under the occupation of the Hungarian state following the imposed treaty signed in 1940 in Vienna.
