The museum is held by collector Zoltan Kallos in his home, which houses about 8,000 traditional objects, costumes from various areas of Romania (unfortunately, out of lack of space, about 6,000 pieces are kept in a warehouse). They include ceramics, wood and textiles from the Northern area of Transylvania, from Moldova, Csango community area in Bacău, from the Saxon and the Romanian area near Bistriţa-Năsăud.
