The house was donated to the Maramureş Museum to be restored and transfored in a local museum. Besides local ethnographic objects, a room presents local history with a focus on fighting the resistance against the Soviet occupation. Dunca noble family originated in Şieu, being one of the oldest, documentad as early as 1349.
