The museum is dedicated to the history of the village Dorneşti, since its establishment by Székely under the Empress Maria Theresa until today. It presents the real history of the village and area, with a focus on multicultural character of the place over time. It is very popular among followers of the Hungarians deported in 1941-1942 in Serbia and Hungary (descendants settled in Canada, Sweden, Israel, Serbia, Hungary, and other countries).
