20 m west of the entrance to the church is the Hegumenesc Palace, a solid wall building, storeyed and covered with tin. The informative panel placed in front of the building tells us that the classicist building, with cellars, ground floor and first floor, was erected by Abbot Nil between 1852-1859. For a good period of time (1881-1992) a hospital for the mentally insane functioned in this building. With the support of the Ministry of Culture and Cults, in 1998 the Abbot's Palace underwent renovation. Currently, the Abbot's Palace at the Floresti Monastery houses the "Bishop Iacov Antonovici" History and Religious Art Section of the "Stefan cel Mare" County Museum - Vaslui.
