The aquarium located in the Palace of Culture, first floor, Sublieutenant Erou Călin Cătălin str. No. 1, Ploiesti, opened for the first time on December 30, 1958, consisted of 14 large pools and 10 small pools. Currently, the exhibition space includes 3 rooms, intended for the permanent exhibition of aquatic fauna and flora. In 65 aquariums and 5 aquariums, a heritage is presented that includes a varied range of species of exotic aquatic creatures (over 36 species and approximately 550 specimens).
