The Virtual Museum of the Holocaust in Northern Transylvania is the first virtual museum about the Holocaust in the world. The museum brings to the fore a fragment of the vast subject of Holocaust research, namely, the part concerning the deportation and extermination of Transylvanian Jews during the Second World War. The primacy of our approach is given by the fact that the Virtual Museum of the Holocaust in Northern Transylvania proposes a thematically and chronologically structured narrative, which covers the entire period of the Holocaust in Northern Transylvania, being more than a simple inventory of digital collections or a virtual presentation of case studies on the Holocaust, as it i...s today. The museum is structured in five thematic and chronological panels, whose text is accompanied by documents, images, maps, tables, graphs, audio and video recordings.
