The museum is housed in a monument of folk architecture built in the 19th century, entirely restored in 1932, then in 1971 and 1991. It is Tudor Vladimirescu's native home. The exhibits include copies of documents regarding the life and activity of Tudor Vladimirescu, the ruler of the Revolution from 1821: period interior, household utensils, photographs and books.
