"Salt Museum", hosted by Cămărăşiei house, Strada 23 August no. 19, Slănic Prahova - historical and architectural monument from the 18th century, opened on August 30, 1978, and at that time it illustrated the formation of salt deposits and the fauna of the Slănic area. Currently, the museum presents in a modern way, based on Augmented and Kinetic Reality technology, 3D VR glasses, significant aspects of the history of salt exploitation and processing, the importance of this mineral for human life and activities, its biological influence on the human body, as well as the peculiarities of the natural environment in the area, including some rare species of halophilic plants.
