The "Ioan Sima" Art Gallery emerged due to the donation of 106 pictures from master Sima. The collection was enriched due to new donations and acquisitions from the painter (in 1983) and his descendents (in 1985). The objects included pictures, Biedermeier furniture, a bookcase a.s.o. The museum heritage was completed with other donations and smaller collections (sculptures, contemporary paintings).
